Don't Worry, Obama's Not Muslim...

just a black separatist! There are all sorts of mainstream news stories glaring about how there are "false rumors" circulating the internets stating that Obama is Muslim. Don't worry, everyone seems to say, Obama is not a Muslim. Look, he even attends church. A radical black-separatist church, that is.

Here's the church's website: Trinity United Church of Christ

On the "About Us" section, the church describes 10 tenets:

We are a congregation which is Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian... Our roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. We are an African people, and remain "true to our native land," the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. God has superintended our pilgrimage through the days of slavery, the days of segregation, and the long night of racism. It is God who gives us the strength and courage to continuously address injustice as a people, and as a congregation. We constantly affirm our trust in God through cultural expression of a Black worship service and ministries which address the Black Community.

The Pastor as well as the membership of Trinity United Church of Christ is committed to a 10-point Vision:

  1. A congregation committed to ADORATION.
  2. A congregation preaching SALVATION.
  3. A congregation actively seeking RECONCILIATION.
  4. A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA.
  5. A congregation committed to BIBLICAL EDUCATION.
  6. A congregation committed to CULTURAL EDUCATION.
  7. A congregation committed to the HISTORICAL EDUCATION OF AFRICAN PEOPLE IN DIASPORA.
  8. A congregation committed to LIBERATION.
  9. A congregation committed to RESTORATION.
  10. A congregation working towards ECONOMIC PARITY.

Commitment to Africa? Economic equality? Liberation. The radical alarm bells are heard sounding in the distance.

I wonder if white people are allowed in this church.

Back in Contact with Iraq

I've been contacted again from one of my previous readers who is a Kurd living in Iraq and working now as a US translator. He describes Iraq as "a great hell" and like a "a great jail" from which there is no exit. I'll post more from him the next time we talk. It's strange to talk to someone who is not anti-US, nor strongly pro-US. He is simply anti- extremist. It makes me not know what media reports to believe.

Looks Like Hill is Losing Her Icy Grip of Death

on the upcoming election. I knew that it was only a matter of time before her real personality would shine through. (You know, her personality as in the heinous beast that masquerades around in pant suits and plastered-on smiles that barely cover her insidious eyes.) Hillary Clinton is possibly the most unlikeable person to ever run for President. It's a shame that one of the first real female presidential candidates is a total snatch.

I think people are surprised at how quickly the Democrats' top candidates are starting to melt. The Republicans were panicking at the beginning of campaign season because it looked like the Democrats had two darlings: Clinton and Obama. Slowly, though, the bright lights and entourages are losing their steam as they vainly try to cover the blemishes on Hillary Clinton's face and her black, black soul. Likewise, the warm, grandeur, too-good-too-be-true facade that Obama sails around as USS Left's Darling will surely sink in the end. A boat with many holes in it will not be able to stay afloat for long. It's just a matter of time until we have to face another decision where the Democrats' candidates fall into piles of slimy goo and we all vote for the other guy (whoever he may be) in an attempt to somehow steer our fortress off this rocky road we have unwittingly happened upon.

Megan Meier Suicide

I bet most of you have heard about the Megan Meier suicide story. I live about 45 minutes from the location where this tragic event happened. I keep wavering back and forth between whether charges should have been filed or not against Lori Drew and her co-conspirator in making up "Josh Evans" in order to torment Megan Meier.

I'm still not sure about it. Everyone here in the area is absolutely outraged at the whole situation. The county prosecutor did not file charges since technically no law was broken. But I firmly believe that justice was not served in this case regarding Lori Drew. I strongly believe that the actions Drew and her friend took against Meier constitute involuntary manslaughter.

what do you think?

Christmas Decorating

I'm revamping some things and trying to decorate a little for Christmas before I go off on my next acerbic rant against the Left.
